Winnipeg fundraiser to feature food, friends and fun

The Rotary Club of Winnipeg supports a variety of initiatives that supports the community, and its Annual Ribfest fundraiser, which will soon be back for another year, will give the public a chance to support its efforts.

Winnipeg residents are invited to bring their whole family to the festivities, and they will be welcome to relax in the sunshine and enjoy the day. It is open to all ages, and admission is free of charge.

Both rib and barbeque chicken lovers will be able to feast on their favourites, and a variety of food trucks will be on site so there will be something for all tastes. Ice cream will be on offer, and there will be lots of water, pop and beer from Farmery Brewery on tap. The entertainment for the occasion will feature Manitoba bands, and the whole occasion has been planned to be friendly and fun for all.

The funds that are raised during Rotary Ribfest 2018 will be used to help support programs and other community service work by the organization. Festive decorations for an event like this can be sourced from an area print company.

The Forks will be the venue for this occasion hat will bring the city together in a spirit of fun. It will run from August 24 until August 26. Its Facebook listing includes more information.
