Winnipeg event puts new twist on traditional breakfast with Santa

While eggs, bacon, toast and sausages may be typical breakfast fare, they will not be among the dishes served during a Winnipeg breakfast planned for the city’s younger set.

The meal for the morning will include a hearty helping of spaghetti, and there will be a lot more fun than just noodles on the menu for the occasion. Once the breakfast is over, there will be a selection of holiday-themed activities, and a certain special guest may even be making an appearance.

The families that come to the event are reminded to bring along their phone or camera so that they can get some snaps in the Elfie Selfie station. The kids can try their hand at cookie making with the staff from Sweet Impressions that will be on hand for the function. There will also be a tour of the display that once graced the Eaton’s store in the city’s downtown.

This holiday party has been planned by the Children’s Museum, and Denny’s Restaurant will be acting as its food sponsor. Including the logo design of the sponsors in the promotional products for an event like this can be a way for its planners to show their appreciation for this support.

The kick off time for this unique take on a traditional breakfast with Santa will be held on December 1. Anyone with questions has been asked to contact the museum through its Facebook page.
