Windsor event to connect patients with healthcare

October 23, 2017 by

Canada is a large country, which can sometimes make it difficult for people living in outlying communities and rural areas to access healthcare, so a fundraiser has been planned for Windsor to make it a little bit easier.

The Give Hope Wings fundraiser, which will be brought to the community courtesy of the efforts off the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association, will provide financial support to Hope Air, which provides free transportation to people all across the country who need to fly to access healthcare.

During the event, the organization’s pilots and crew will be on hand to meet with the public and share details of what they do. Dinner will be served, and there will also be a cash bar, guests speakers, live entertainment to enjoy, an auction, and raffles.

It will be a family friendly event, and all ages are welcome to come to the CH2A Museum to take part in the fun of the evening while lending a helping hand to those facing a difficult time. Pop-up banners and other decorations can be prepared by a local printer for a function like this.

November 3 has been selected as the date for the fundraiser, which will be held in the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association. Tickets are $65 each, and additional information can be found on the Give Hope Wings Facebook page.
