Whitby will be marking the end of summer with a special event that will bring the community together in a spirit of celebration.

The Brooklin Harvest Festival is scheduled to kick off at

10:00 am, and the fun will last throughout the day. It will be held in the community’s downtown and also Grass Park, which is located at 41 Baldwin Street, and all are welcome.

Many merchants on Baldwin Street will be offering special sales events, and the public is invited to come and check out what the area has to offer. There will also be vendors selling fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as baked goods, flowers and an assortment of other handmade items. The kids can make tracks for the area that will be on offer just for them, and here they will find pumpkin decorating stations, an inflatable hay maze, a scavenger hunt and balloon twisters.

The adrenaline junkies in the crowd can try their hand on the rock climbing wall and other activities in the Adventure Zone, and a petting zoo and entertainment are also on the agenda. Poster printing and other print services for this sort of occasion can be performed by an area printer.

This salute to summer’s end will be held on September 15th. Anyone who is interested in finding out more can do so by visiting the city’s website.
