Airdrie Fest is taking place next month for two days. It is a presentation of the City of Airdrie, the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce and various other local organizations.

The festival is divided into two parts. September 9 will feature

Music on Main beginning at 6:00 PM. The headliner for the event will be Aaron Pritchett. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. There will also be several beer gardens and a number of food trucks on hand. The first 150 people through the gates will receive a free Airdrie Fest beer stein.

The next day there will be an all-day street festival. There are expected to be over 160 vendors who will be selling everything from arts and crafts to general merchandise. A number of community organizations will be there to provide information to the public and to allow registration for some programs. In addition, there will also be food trucks and children’s entertainment.

Sponsorships and volunteer opportunities are still available.

Airdrie banner printing companies are often asked to provide items to help decorate the venues of public events like this.

Airdrie Fest will be held outside Airdrie City Hall from September 7 to 8. Admission is free of charge. For the most up-to-date information, to volunteer or to become a sponsor, contact the City of Airdrie at 403-948-8800.
