When an individual or family comes into contact with the health care system, dealing with a medical professional who has strong interpersonal sills can make the experience much less stressful, and a Vaughn area symposium will be addressing this issue.

Participants in the “Organizer of Patient Communication and Interpersonal Skills Development for Healthcare Providers” which is geared towards

those with a profession in physiotherapy field, will share information, tips and best practices. The goal is for each attendee to walk away with a toolbox of skills they can utilize when providing patient care.

Three physiotherapy clinicians will be leading the event, and it is scheduled to run for two days. It has been organized by COMPAS Interactive, and its planners noted that it would be a one of a kind experience. The delegates will have lots of opportunities to network with one another, and there will be a variety of presentations and other skill building exercises.

Each person who participates in the event will receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the workshop. Stationery printers can be counted upon to both custom design and produce items such as these.

This chance for physiotherapists to add to their personal skillset when it comes to interpersonal interaction with their patients will be held on November 17th and 18th. It will be taking place at 4500 Highway 7 in Woodbridge.
