Vaughan flower making workshop planned

January 21, 2018 by

The first flowers of spring will be arriving in Vaughan a little bit ahead of time this year, and the public is invited to come and learn how to make some of their very own.

The Paper Flower Workshop will teach participants how they can craft both mini paper rosettes and giant flowers using a variety of papers. They will also find out how they can create centres for their blossoms to make them bright and cheery.

While the students work on their paper blooms, there will be lots of time for them to chat and get to know one another. Refreshments, including cookies and coffee, will be served, and there will also be draws throughout the evening for an assortment of prizes. The session will be facilitated by a representative of Istilia Roche Paper Designs, and the crafters will learn using hands-on techniques.

The registration fee for the workshop is $50 each, and this includes all the materials, as well as the snacks. It will be taking place in Meeting Room # 1 of the Al Palladini Community Centre, which is located at 9201 Islington Avenue. Flyers that promote an event like this can be sourced from a printer in the local area.

March 2 has been selected as the date for this function, which will be bringing spring’s blossoms to Vaughan a little bit early. It is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm.
