Various events celebrate Alberta Art Days

As part of National Culture Days and Alberta Arts Days, the city of Lethbridge is hosting its own Art Days for nine days next month. It is presented by the Allied Arts Council.

A variety of arts-related events will be taking place over the four-day event at different venues in the city.

The 15th annual Art Walk will be held from September 28 to 29. Participants will have the opportunity to visit several galleries and the studios of local artisans. Along the walk route, there will be entertainment from musicians, dancers and buskers.

Another popular event is sure to be the Artisan Market that will take place at Casa from September 29 to 30. There will be plenty of artworks for sale as well as art activities for the entire family. It is likely some of the artists will be providing demonstrations of their art.

The last event of the week will be Family Affair on the Square on September 30 at Rotary Square. There will be musical entertainment, sampler classes, art demonstrations and a barbecue. The public will also have the opportunity to create their own chalk art.

To advertise public events such as these, organizers will often invest in flyer printing services from Lethbridge print shops.

Arts Days will be held from September 22 to 30. For more information, contact Muffy McKay at 403-320-0555.
