Vancouver sparkles for jewelry lovers

A springtime event that will showcase the talents of artists from all over North America in a novel way will be returning to Vancouver for its 5th year. This annual occasion will give the public a chance to do some jewelry shopping while supporting the Craft Council of British Columbia.

The planners of the Earring Show hope to have more than 172 pairs of earrings on offer, and along with this, there will be light nibbles and drinks. The jewelry will be sold on a first come, first served basis, so those who plan on attending are advised to arrive early so they will have the best selection.

As an added incentive, the planners are offering a special opportunity to win a 20% discount from the price of a future purchase they make at the council’s gallery and shop. Those who register ahead of time and attend the function will have their name entered into the draw.

There is no admission fee being charged to enter the event, but a donation will be very much appreciated. The suggested amount is $5 each. Poster printing can be used to craft a variety of promotional materials that can help to market an event like this to the local community.

This opportunity for local jewelry lovers to add to their collection will be taking place on May 6 at 1386 Cartwright Street in Vancouver. A visit to the planner’s Facebook page will provide further details.
