Vancouver seeks input from the construction and development sector

The management of rainwater and runoff is a concern for many cities, and as Vancouver will be tackling the problem head on, it is sharing its plans and seeking feedback from members of the local construction and development community.

The city has planned two roundtable sessions where participants will have an opportunity to learn more about some of the proposed measures while contributing their own input to the process of developing these policies. Two of these events have been planned, and those who are interested can choose the one that is most appropriate for them.

The morning’s roundtable is geared towards large scale developments, while the afternoon’s is intended for residential installations that will be smaller in size. There will be time for discussion, and light refreshments will be served during both of these free events.

Both of the sessions will be held in the ground floor level of 511 West Broadway in Vancouver. The morning’s will begin at 9:30 am, and the afternoon’s is scheduled to start at 2:30 pm. Wide format printing can be used to craft large sized versions of any visual material that will be used during an event like this.

March 6 has been chosen as the date for these industry feedback functions. Anyone who would like to register can find out more about how to do so on the city’s website.
