Vancouver festival to salute its Greek side

April 24, 2018 by

Early this summer, a little piece of Vancouver will be going Greek, and everyone is welcome to join in this celebration of the country’s music, food, and culture.

A section of Broadway spanning five blocks will be closed off to host this special event, and the organizers noted it will be relaxed and friendly, but also exciting. The only traffic will be pedestrian, and there will be lots to see and do for everyone who comes out.

Those who come to the festival will be treated to an opportunity to sample Greek food and also enjoy its music, dancing, and other entertainment. Along with this, there will be a huge assortment of vendors on hand. Eventgoers will be able to browse through all their products, and there will also be a chance for them to learn more about Greek travel experiences for anyone who gets inspired to visit the country in person.

This occasion is expected to draw so much interest that it has been recognized by Mayor Gregor Robinson in an official proclamation. Banner printing for this type of function can be supplied by a local printer.

This celebration of Greek culture and the contribution that it has made to the flavour of the community has been planned for June 24. The stretch of Broadway between Blenheim and McDonald will be the location for all the fun, and additional details are available on its website.
