The skies above Vancouver’s English Bay will soon be lighting up during a festival that celebrates sight, sound and also food.

The Honda Celebration of Light will be returning to the city for its 27th year, and the organizers say they have planned for it to be even better than ever before. The show will have an international flavour, and will feature both Japan and the UK, with special focus being placed on marking Canada’s 150th birthday. Reusable pop-up banners can be prepared for an annual event such as this.

The festivities will include an assortment of components, including fireworks displays, musical performances and food. A variety of venues will be set up where ticket holders can enjoy all the event has to offer, and those who wish to take in one of the fireworks shows can do so from land or on a boat on the waters of English Bay. The foodies in the crowd can head to one of the trucks that will be rolling in for the occasion, and a wide assortment of entertainers will be performing for the crowd.

This celebration will be welcoming visitors on July 29, August 2, and August 5. An assortment of viewing venues will be set up for the occasion, and ticket prices will vary based upon their locations. Further details can be found on the event’s website.
