Vancouver expo to make quilts the stars of the show

The art of quilt making will be showcased during an event on the way to Vancouver this spring, and the organizers invite everyone to come out and enjoy the experience.

The city’s Vancouver Convention Centre, which is located in the downtown core, will be acting as the host for the occasion. Over 400 quilts in a wide assortment of styles will be on display for the guests to enjoy, and the entries in the National Juried show will also be available for viewing.

Along with the displays and exhibits, a vendors’ market featuring more than 70 booths will be on site, and the public can come and browse through all they have to offer. There will also be an opportunity to attend a variety of workshops and lectures by experts in the field of quilting, as well as a chance to sit in on demonstration of these quilters in action.

The three-day event is open to everyone, but those who would like to participate in one of the lectures or workshops are encouraged to register to do so ahead of time to ensure they will get a seat. Pop-up banners and other promotional products for use during this type of large, recurring event can be sourced from a printer in the local area.

Quilt Canada 2018 is set to take place in Vancouver from May 31 until June 2. The Hello BC website includes further details for anyone who is interested in finding out more.
