The CANsTech Construction Technology and Innovation Trade Show is taking place next month in the Dartmouth area.

A presentation of the Construction Association of Nova Scotia, the trade show is aimed at those in the construction industry and will likely attract government and industry professionals. It is set to feature over 40 exhibitors representing companies in fields such as 3D printing, alternative energy, and prefabrication. The exhibitors will be showcasing their newest products and technologies. The keynote speaker will be James Benham whose topic will be “The future is now.”

There will also be two workshop sessions by Robe McKinney, who will discuss workflow, and Jeff Sample, who will offer the best solutions for functionality and fiscal responsibility. In addition, there will be a panel discussion on construction innovation.

Exhibition booths are available for $1,500 up to $3,500, and sponsorships can be purchased from $800 to $2,500.

Since this is an industry-specific trade show, it is likely to attract professionals from all over the area, including Dartmouth. No doubt many planning to attend will be bringing their business cards to exchange with their peers.

The CANsTech Trade Show will be held at the Cunard Centre in Halifax on November 20 from 7:30 to 4:30 PM. Admission is free of charge. For more information or to become a sponsor, contact Natalie Bobbitt at 902-468-2267 x718.
