The 4th annual Kiwanis Apple Festival is taking place next month for two days in Calgary. Proceeds will be donated to Kamp Kiwanis.

There will be a variety of family-friendly activities taking place during the festival that are sure to please people of all ages. There will be a bouncy castle, face painting and games for the children. Adults can enjoy shopping at the farmers’ market or taking part in the silent auction.

There will be apple baking and tasting, cookie decorating and an apple treasure hunt. Guests can also take part in apple archery, and arts and crafts activities. There will also be games like mini-putt, Yahtzee, and giant Jenga. They can take a river hike along the Elbow River or watch a demonstration of Safe 4 Life (personal safety and self-defense). In addition, guests can learn everything about apples in the Everything Apples area.

Musical entertainment will be provided by 45 RPM, Anna Marina, the Rockin’ Rebel, Lucid Diversity, and others.

Calgary print shops are frequently asked to help advertise upcoming events such as this in the community. Kamp Kiwanis is a subsidized camp for disadvantaged and underprivileged children. It welcomes over 11,000 campers to its grounds each year.
