Upcoming festival highlights local pets

February 4, 2018 by

The Red Deer Pet Fest will take place this month for two days.

A number of vendors will be on hand to sell pet-related products or provide information about available services. Items for sale will include dog and cat treats, accessories, food, furniture and clothing. Several local animal services will also be on hand at the festival too.

The days will be filled with demonstrations from pet handlers, performances such as the President’s Choice Super Dogs and lots of door prizes. Visitors will also have the opportunity to “chat and pat” with the Super Dogs. In addition, there will be a Super Dogs talent search to find one dog to join the group.

Vendor booths are available from $815 up to $5,625 depending on location and size. It likely that many of these vendors will be contacting their favorite Red Deer printing company to invest in items such as signs and banners, which will bring attention to their booths.

Tickets are $14.25 for adults, $9.70 for youth (13 to 17), and $6.45 for children between the ages of 5 and 12. A family pass can be purchased for $34.70.

The Red Deer Pet Fest will be held at the Prairie Pavilion at Westerner Park next weekend, February 10 and 11. To learn more about the festival or to become a vendor, contact Shaun Fandrey at 403-341-7811.
