Upcoming fair to highlight opportunities in Regina

January 9, 2016 by

The Spring Career Fair is taking place at the University of Regina next month.

The fair is open to current students and

alumni. A large number of companies and non-profit organizations from the city will be highlighting career options and those attending will have the chance to meet with representatives one on one; both local and national employers are expected to be in attendance. This year, some of those that have been confirmed are Camp Easter Seal, the City of Regina, CIBC, the Canadian Red Cross, Saskjobs and the YWCA of Regina.

Space is still available for exhibitors. Fees are $400 for corporations and $125 for charitable organizations; there is an extra $50 fee for electricity. Fees include a 10 x 6-foot table, access to the exhibitor’s lounge, breakfast, lunch and refreshments during the day.

This fair is a good opportunity for all involved; the students will learn about a variety of jobs they may be qualified for and companies will find the staff they are looking for.

It is likely that many of the participating organizations will be handing out printed information which may be supplied by their favorite Regina stationery printer.

The Spring Career Fair will be held at the University of Regina on February 3 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. For more information, call 306-585-5161.
