The 2nd annual Raiseberry gala is taking place next month in Abbotsford, raising funds for the Red Press Society.

The theme of the event is ‘Rise up Valley Culture’. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy locally made food and drink prepared by top local chefs, they will be able to watch a live painting demonstration by a local artist and can participate in a silent auction for some unique items. During the evening, there will also be dramatic skits by actors and readings by authors. In addition, there will be musical entertainment. To help them remember the evening, guests can also pose for pictures in the photo booth.

The Red Press Society is a nonprofit organization that hosts several events and programs in Fraser Valley. It also produces Raspberry Magazine, which showcases local art, culture and community life.

Admission to the event is free but a donation of $5 is recommended.

To spread word of this event, organizers might ask an Abbotsford poster printing company to provide them with a poster that can be distributed throughout the community.

The Raiseberry gala will be held at the Reach Gallery Museum on June 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. To learn more about the event, or about the Red Press Society and Raspberry Magazine, visit the official website.
