The Wanderlust 108 triathlon is taking place next month in Calgary. Proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS (Red).

The triathlon consists of a 5K run or walk, yoga, and meditation. The yoga will be music powered by the likes of DJ Seriousblack, and the emcee for the event will be Jennifer Knight.

Participants and spectators will be able to visit the Kula Market, which will feature items for sale by local artisans such as handmade jewelry. They can also grab a bite to eat in the True North Café.

In addition to the triathlon, there will be guest speakers, musical entertainment, and teachers of various skills. Guests can take part in workshops led by expert teachers on various topics such as Tarot 101, essential oils and hooping.

There are different fees for the event and tickets will be available for purchase until July 31. A ticket for the run, the yoga and the meditation is $51.08, while one for only yoga and meditation is $41.08. A picnic lunch can also be purchased for $20.

For events like this, Calgary print shops often provide bibs and T-shirts for participants.

The Wanderlust 108 triathlon will be held at Fort Calgary on August 11 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. For the most up-to-date information about this event, visit the official website.
