Unique Paint Night event happening in Moose Jaw

Wakamov Valley will be hosting the first ever Paint Night Fundraiser in support of The Connor Park Challenge Course.

Paint Night revellers will spend their evening socializing over their favorite spirits, while painting a unique park scene under the guidance of a local artist. The event promises to be filled with laughter and merriment, compounded by the uplifting knowledge that the special occasion will benefit the entire community.

A portion ($15) from each ticket purchased will be used to help complete the local park project, which was announced in April, 2017. The promised playground, which has been touted as a new, never before seen innovation in Moose Jaw, will replace the wooden structure located in the park for more than 30 years. While there are many new playgrounds in the area for young children, this new ‘Challenge Course’ was specifically designed for adults and children over 13 years of age.

The Wakamov Valley Authority needs to raise $120,000 before the project can be completed. More information about the Authority’s upcoming park projects, scheduled events, fundraising goals and established playgrounds may be available in brochures and flyers.

Artistic talent is not required to purchase a ticket for the Paint Night Fundraiser, which will be held on Monday, March 19 from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. The Sportsman’s Centre located at 276 Home Street East will host the event in the facility’s hall. Tickets cost $45.00 each and may be purchased from the Paint Night website.
