Travel show to help feed the public’s wanderlust

The Edmonton Travel Show is taking place next month.

The theme of this year’s show is ‘Cinco de Mayo’ and guests will be treated to Mexican music from a DJ and dance performances. They can also enjoy Mexican food and drinks at the Taste of Travel.

Vendors will be offering information about various travel services and resorts, and selling necessary accessories. There will also be a number of wedding consultants on hand such as photographers, gown designers and caterers. Many will likely be giving out freebies such as pens and fridge magnets to people who stop by their booths. In addition, there will be drawings for prizes such as a trip for two to Mexico.

Guests can also attend several workshops for $10 each. Some of those will be a Travel Finds workshop with Russell Hannon, Britain and Ireland with Michael Mullin, Women Only Travel, and Happy Bride and Honeymoon Getaways.

VIP tickets are available for $20 and include early access, food and drink tickets.

Vendors who are participating in the show may decide to order any promotional products they plan to give away at their booths from Edmonton print companies.

The Edmonton Travel Show will be held at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre on May 5 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, visit the official website.
