Toronto tour to explore Niagara ice wines

January 7, 2018 by

Ice wine is a beverage that is enjoyed by many, and a special tour will soon be departing from Toronto for Niagara wine country to learn more about how this drink is crafted.

Those who participate in one of the Niagara Ice Wine Tours that will be taking place throughout January, will discover how frozen grapes are transformed into this sweet drink. The participants will be transported to several different vineyards and wineries, and at each stop, they will have a chance to sample that particular vintner’s offerings along with a specially selected food pairing that will complement the wine.

At noon, the group will stop for lunch at an establishment that features locally sourced vegetables, fruit and other ingredients. There will also be an option to stay in the area for the weekend for anyone who would like to do so. The attendees will be picked up and dropped off in Toronto at their door, and stops at four different wineries are on the agenda for the excursion. Brochures that provide more details about this type of event can be produced by an area printer.

The ticket price for this exploration of Niagara ice wines is $350 person, and there are also several options available for anyone who would like to stay for the weekend and enjoy the Ice Wine Festival, which will be taking place in the local area. More details about the tour can be found on the organizer’s website.
