Toronto startup carnival to offer fun for a cause

The Toronto tech community will be coming together to host a special event that will showcase all the city has to offer while raising money for families with an ill or injured child.

The Start Up Carnival will include a variety of stations where the public and those who manage a startup can meet and have fun. The organizers noted that some of the city’s top leaders in the field will be on site to chat with, and there will also be a dunk tank and gladiator joust.

The dunk tank will see some of Toronto’s leading tech executives volunteer to be plunged into 500 gallons of water. The jousting competition has been planned to offer just as much fun, and the winner will receive bragging rights for the rest of the year. Food and drinks will also be served, and there will be time for networking and building connections with others in the city’s tech community. Business cards for an event like this can be both designed and produced by a print company in the local area.

This special occasion has been organized for July 10, and the proceeds raised will be donated to Ronald McDonald House to help them provide support to families with an ill or injured child who is receiving care in the hospital. It will be taking place at 255 Bremmer Boulevard.
