Toronto set to go geeky for another year

January 2, 2017 by

Each year, a Toronto event attracts thousands of pop culture fans from all over, and its organizers hope that 2017 will be no exception.

Toronto Comicon 2017 will bring together an expected 25,000 fans and at least 400 exhibitors in a three-day celebration of science fiction, comic books, graphic novels and other pop culture. It will be held in the Toronto Convention Centre, which will put it within easy reach for users of public transit. Poster printing can be used by the organizers of this type of event to create an assortment of marketing materials that promote it throughout the local area.

In addition to the vendors and service providers that will be setting up shop for the weekend, there will be presentations, celebrity guests and workshops and an assortment of other activities. Attendees can meet the guests for autographs and photos, and there will also be an Artists’ Alley. Although it has been designed as a family friendly event and all ages are welcome, the after-hours party, which will be held on the Friday night, will be open to those ages 21 and over only.

Toronto Comicon 2017 will be held on the weekend of March 17th to the 19th. Further details, including a complete schedule of activities, sponsorship and vendor information, and an opportunity to purchase tickets ahead of time, are available on its website.
