Timmins party to give cabin fever the boot

January 16, 2018 by

A Timmins’s winter can often seem to last a very long time, but residents of the community will soon have a chance to enjoy a night of fun that might just make them forget the cold.

The Porcupine Dante Club will be the location for a party that can help to keep cabin fever at bay. Guests are invited to wear a comfy plaid shirt, toque and jeans, and to dance the night away to tunes provides by Fiberglass Mustache.

While they dance and mingle with the other partygoers, the revelers will be treated to a buffet-style dinner and a variety of cocktails and other beverages will be on offer. To help add to the excitement of the night, drawings for door prizes are also on the agenda for the occasion. Digital printing can be used to create banners and other festive decorations for this type of event.

This prescription for cabin fever has been planned for February 9. The doors will open at 5:30 pm, and the buffet service will start at 6:30 pm. The music is set to begin after the meal, and the ticket price for the function is $65 each. Bookings for tables of 10 are available, and anyone who would like to find out more is asked to contact the Downtown Timmins Business Association at 705-264-8733.
