Timmins event to offer a taste of the Caribbean

July 29, 2018 by

A Timmins fundraiser will be bringing a taste of the islands to Timmins, and the McIntyre Curling Club has invited everyone to come to the Caribbean-inspired celebration.

Guests of the 2nd annual Caribbean Night Fundraiser are welcome to dress in their casual vacation attire. To make the event even more fun than last year’s, the planners have added an extra activity to the agenda for the evening.

Ticket holders for the function will be treated to a buffet of all-you-can-eat fries and chicken wings, and door prizes will be given out. An assortment of games and other challenges will be on offer, and when it is time to go home, attendees from Timmins and Porcupine can make use of the free ride service that will be available to them.

New for this year will be a special escape room style challenge. There will be enough time spaces for eight groups of four people to try their luck in the ‘Escape From Pirate Challenge’, and tickets for this extra addition to the evening can be purchased separately from those for the main event. A printing services provider can supply any printed materials needed to ensure an event like this is a success.

The Caribbean Night fundraiser will be taking place on August 16 at 331 Pine Street South. Tickets start at $25 each.
