The sky’s the limit for an Abbotsford fundraiser

June 30, 2017 by

A unique fundraiser has been planned for Abbotsford that will see participants taking a leap of faith in support of homeless and vulnerable youth in the local community.

This will be the 8th year for the fundraiser, which is being hosted by Skydive Vancouver. Those who are brave enough to take part will jump, in tandem, from a plane and skydive to the ground below. Before this, they will collect pledges from friends and family. An area printer can supply printed pledge sheets and other personalized business forms to the organizers of s function such as this, which can help to make sure it all goes as smoothly as possible.

There is no experience required to accept the challenge, as each participant will dive along with a seasoned expert. All the equipment will be provided, as well as instruction. Those who would prefer to keep their feet on the ground can still lend a hand by enjoying the barbecue and other activities that will be set up for the event. Donations will be most welcome, and the proceeds will be used to help support Cyrus Centre, which provides emergency housing to youth in crisis or who are homeless.

This day where the sky’s the limit has been planned for July 13th at 5112 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford. More details, as well as an opportunity to register, can be found on the community’s website.
