The rodeo returns to Leduc this spring

April 8, 2018 by

The Black Gold Pro Rodeo is returning to Leduc at the end of next month. Leading up to this will be several fun community events.

The first will be the 50th anniversary Rodeo Banquet on April 28. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, a buffet dinner and entertainment by Richard Deborah. Tickets are $50 for adults and $15 for children between the ages of 5 and 12.

Later on, in mid-May, the Old Tyme Fair is taking place. It will feature a farmers’ market, a car show, a mechanical bull, and kids’ chuckwagon races. There will also be bouncy castles, face painting and food trucks. Vendor booths are still available for the market.

Two weeks later, the Fun Rodeo is set to take place. It will have rodeo events such as branding and steer doctoring, roping lessons, tomahawk throwing, and lawn tractor racing.

To advertise all these events, organizers may contact one of their favorite printing shops to provide products like flyers and posters.

The Black Gold Pro Rodeo will be held at the Leduc Recreation Centre from May 31 to June 3. The Old Tyme Fair will take place on May 12 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Alex Arena. The Fun Rodeo will be held at the Recreation Centre on May 26 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Call 780-887-3235 for information about any of these events.
