April 1, 2018 by

The Health Care Symposium is taking place this month in Calgary, hosted by McLeod Law LLP.

The symposium is open to all health professionals such as doctors, chiropractors and occupational therapists. It will discuss and present new information about mTBI (mild traumatic brain injury).

Speakers are set to be Dr. Christine McGovern, Dr. Stewart Longman, and Dr. Kathryn Schneider, who will be discussing new developments in the treating and diagnosing of mTBIs. Topics of discussion are set to include rehabilitation following concussion, how to manage mTBI medically, and the role of psychology in the treatment of patients.

Those planning to attend this informative summit will be able to earn Continuing Competence Credits (CCC).

Food and beverages will be served to all attendees. There will also be opportunities for them to network with their fellow professionals and possibly make some new connections.

Those professionals who are planning to attend will no doubt be bringing along their business cards. Many may contact their favorite Calgary print shops to place a new business card printing order.

The Health Care Symposium will be held at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South on April 26 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Tickets are free but those who are interested must pre-register by Friday, April 20. Call 403-278-9411 to learn more about this upcoming event.
