Summit to showcase South Western Alberta business

The Opportunity South Summit is taking place in Lethbridge next month over two days.

A Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce event, the first day of the summit will be dedicated to the Leaders of Lethbridge Mixer and Tradeshow, which will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A number of exhibitors will be showcasing their products and services to their business peers. Vendor spaces are still available for $100 for a table only, or $500, which includes a table and a conference pass.

The next day will feature the summit that will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It will feature several speakers representing Alberta businesses. The day will start off with coffee and then an introduction from the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce.

The focus of the summit is on the opportunities and innovations provided by South Western Alberta businesses. Among the speakers who will be appearing are Janet Bannister, the founder of Kijiji, Robert Palmer from West Jet, and Indigenous leader Kelly Lendsay.

It is likely that the majority of those attending this Lethbridge summit will be bringing business cards to exchange with their peers.

The Opportunity South Summit will be held at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge from October 2 to 3. Fees are $199 for Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce members, $250 for nonmembers. and $99 for students; tables of eight are available. Contact Jennifer at 402-327-1586 for information.
