The Party in the Park is taking place next month in nearby Rockwood, presented by the Rockwood Parks and Recreation Department.

The party will have lots of activities that are sure to interest the entire family. There will be performances by musical artists such as the Andre Bisson Duo and the Black Water Trio, as well as several street performers. There will be plenty of food to purchase with food trucks, an adult beverage area and a tea/café tent.

For the children, there will be bouncy castles, a petting zoo and face painting. Creepy Critter Show and a Birds of Prey demonstrations will be presented by Wild Ontario. In addition, Paw Patrol and Minions characters will be making guest appearances.

There will also be activities such as axe throwing, a caricature artist and a gaming trailer. Guests will be able to take advantage of the facilities at the park including the skate park, the splash pad and the climbing wall.

The day will finish off with a fireworks display beginning at 9:30 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
