Stoney Creek equestrian camp out 2018

A popular equestrian event is set to return to the Stoney Creek area for another year, and people from all across the province will be coming in to be a part of the fun.

The Dundas Valley Equestrian Association along with the Hamilton Conservation Authority and the Hamilton Conservation Foundation will be working together to host the 2018 Equestrian Camp Out Fundraiser. The organizers expect that hundreds will come to enjoy a weekend of activities, and the funds raised will be used to provide upgrades to the Dundas Valley Trail System and refurbish its bridges so that they will be more “horse friendly”.

The planners have arranged a list of activities for those who come to the event, and these range from a raffle table to guided trail rides a BBQ dinner and many other options. It was noted that last year, the weekend was able to raise over $10,000, and the organizers hope that this year will be just as much of a success.

The camp out will be taking place in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, and the group will gather at 650 Governors Road in Hamilton. Banner printing and other services for this sort of community activity can be sourced from a nearby printer.

The weekend from August 10th until August 12th has been selected for this yearly outing. Its event listing can be consulted for further details.
