Saskatoon to host family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations

December 11, 2015 by

While New Year’s Eve is usually seen as an adult celebration, two museums in Saskatoon are hosting parties for all ages to enjoy.

The first event to take place will be Noon Year’s Eve at the Saskatchewan Science Center. The countdown will take place at noon rather than midnight. Guests will enjoy stage shows such as the “Big Bang Stage Show”, craft making and holiday movies. They will also be given a lunch consisting of a hot dog and a drink.

Later on, Celebrate NYE 2015 is taking place at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. There will be both indoor and outdoor activities planned. Some of those include winter themed games, a barbecue and a scavenger hunt. There will also be ice fishing activities, lantern crafts and a family dance party hosted by DJ Jeremy. The countdown to the New Year will begin at 8:15 PM.

Regina stationery printers may provide advertising materials like posters or flyers to spread the word about both of these events.

Noon Year’s Eve will be held at the Saskatchewan Science Center on December 31 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Tickets are $15 per person or $12 for members. Call 306-791-7943 for more information.

Celebrate NYE 2015 will take place on December 31 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. Admission is $12 or $10 for members. To find out the latest news about this event, call 306-787-7271.
