Saskatoon invited to local pumpkin festival

A Saskatoon farm has found a way to greet the cooler days of fall that offers fun for the whole family, no matter how old or young they might be.

Black Fox Pumpkin Fest will soon be back, and families from the local area are invited to come out to the farm and join in the fun. More than 15,000 pumpkins have been grown for the occasion, and there will be lots of activities for all ages.

Kids can burn off some energy of the climbing structures, and there will also be pony rides and straw bale mazes as well. Pumpkin rolling has been included in the schedule for the occasion, and games of skill including golf, t-ball with a twist and tosses have also been planned. The whole family can enjoy horse and tractor drawn wagon rides, and there will be food available for purchase as well.

Each person who comes to the festivities will be welcome to choose a pumpkin to take home with them, and there will be lots of photo opportunities for those who wish to capture the occasion. Banner printing for this sort of celebration can be sourced from a printer in the area.

This early fall festival will be held on the weekend of September 29th and 30th at 245 Valley Road. Admission per vehicle is $10.00.
