Saskatoon conference to centre on soil

February 17, 2018 by

The health and fertility of soil will be the subject of an upcoming Saskatoon symposium that has been planned for Saskatchewan farmers.

During the ‘Under our Feet’ conference, delegates will have an opportunity to learn about the latest research and advances in both soil and weed management. A trade show and presentations from an assortment of speakers are on the agenda for the day, and the ticket price to participate starts at $40 each.

The presenters who will be addressing the attendees come from government, academia, agriculture and other fields, and there will also be a panel of farmers who will discuss their operations and share best practices. Organic farming methods of weed control, as well as a variety of other topics, are on the slate for discussion, and anyone who is involved in the agricultural industry in the province and feels this event is of interest to them is welcome. A printer can prepare presentation folders and other materials for distribution to those who take part in this type of large function.

March 23rd has been chosen as the date for this farming themed event, and it will be taking place in the Saskatoon Inn and Conference Center, which is located at 2002 Airport Drive. Additional details, as well as an opportunity to register, can be found on the organizer’s website.
