Safety course on offer for Toronto’s transportation sector

Putting safety first is an important consideration in the trucking and commercial vehicle sector, and a morning event planned for Toronto will explore how those who work in these industries can make it a priority for themselves.

The North Campus of Humber College will be the location for Think Safety First, and it will help those who participate ensure than they will be completely in compliance with the province’s Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. The information included has also been selected to assist anyone who will be writing their New Entrant Education and Evaluation Program test.

The workshop will be facilitated by the Ministry of Transportation’s Facility Audit and Enforcement Program, staff members for which will be sharing their expertise and experience in the field with the students. The organizers noted that it may be of interest to fleet managers, safety, and compliance officers and drivers alike.

The registration fee to take part in the seminar has been set at $79 each. Comb binding can be used by a printer to craft manuals and other learning materials for this type of instructional event.
