Richmond Hill prepares to host summer movie screenings

A warm summer night can be a great time to take in an outdoor movie, and a series of Richmond Hill events will seek to make the most of the season.

The town has organized “Moonlight Movies” which will run throughout the month of August. They will be screened at various sites throughout the community, and should the weather be inclement on the evening when one is scheduled to be shown, the event will be moved and take place indoors instead.

The first movie that is on the schedule is “Ferdinand”. Those who plan on catching the show are reminded to bring along a blanket or folding chair. The picture will begin once the sun has set, and there will also be a program of fun before it starts. Vendors will be on hand for the occasion, and audience members can also bring along their favorite movie snack.

The films selected will be shown on Wednesday evenings throughout the month of August. Effective marketing materials for an event like this can be provided by a flyer printing company.

The date for the screening of “Ferdinand” has been set as August 8th. It will be held at Richmond Hill Central Library, but should the weather prove to be bad that day, it will be moved to the Elgin Barrow Arena.
