Rib festival returns to Mississauga at a new venue

June 14, 2018 by

The 16th annual Mississauga Rotary Rib Fest is taking place next month for three days.

Presented by Amacon, the festival usually takes place at Celebration Square but this year has been moved to Port Credit Memorial Park.

The festival will feature over 12 vendors that will be selling barbecued ribs and chicken, dessert, veggie dishes, and a variety of drinks. There will also be entertainment provided by local bands, as well as a Singfest competition.

To kick off this year’s festival, the Mississauga Board of Trade is having a special luncheon on the grounds. Guests will enjoy the entertainment as well as participate in prize drawings and raffles. Tickets will include a half rack of ribs, dessert, and a VIP pass to the festival. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities. Tickets are $22.12 for Board of Trade members and $26.55 for non-members.

VIP tickets are available for $20 and $35. The higher ticket price includes a half rack of ribs and two sides.

No doubt most of the Mississauga Board of Trade members will be bringing their business cards to exchange with their peers.

The Mississauga Rotary Rib Fest will be held at Port Credit Memorial Park from July 12 to 15. Tickets are $2 or $5 for a family pass; food is extra. Call 905-510-0665.
