Those who have always wanted to start their own small business but who have been too nervous to make the leap are invited to a Regina event that has been planned with them in mind.

It will equip them with the tools they can use to help get their idea off the ground and make it a success.

Start at Square One will provide participants with knowledge about starting an enterprise in Saskatchewan. They will learn how to perform market research and cultivate their ideas, organize a business plan, structure and register a small business, and discover which regulations and taxes may apply to them. Booklet printing providers will be able to design and produce an assortment of informational materials that can be given out to those who come to an information session a such as this.

Square One, which is an incubator and resource centre for Saskatchewan business, has organized the event, which will be held at Economic Development Regina. It is located at 1925 Rose Street in Regina.

The date of the workshop has been set as December 1, starting at 12:00 pm. Tickets are available free of charge.
