Print companies and NASCAR go hand in hand

Print companies in Timmins may be interested to learn what a certain print company in nearby Markham is up to with regards to NASCAR. A digital printer in Markham by the name of Beyond Digital Imaging has shown off the work that it has done on behalf of NASCAR, the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing.

Only a short time ago, the digital printer, Beyond Digital Imaging, threw open its doors to the public, inviting both its own customers as well as members of the Canadian print industry. It did this in order to get publicity for a bunch of new work—in the form of wraps around NASCAR cars—that it created on behalf of NASCAR.

During its open house, the print company was graced by the presence of current NASCAR driver Kerry Micks; Micks has been a competitive race car driver for the last two decades. In fact, Micks started out in Cascar (which is the Canadian Association for Stock Car Auto Racing), but then moved on to NASCAR after the buyout a couple of years ago.

Digital Beyond Imaging’s owner, Larry Chan, also posed in photos with Micks, to better illustrate the wraps that his company had done up for NASCAR’s race cars. Micks currently drives the #02 Beyond Digital Imaging on behalf of his own team. The NASCAR wraps were made by using HP’s Scitex XLJET, which comes with HP Latex technology.

Print companies in nearby Timmins will surely also employ such press-friendly promotions to showcase their own designs.
