Popular exhibition returns to Medicine Hat for another summer

June 13, 2018 by

The 130th annual Exhibition and Stampede is taking place next month in Medicine Hat for four days.

The event will be filled with a variety of activities that will likely appeal to the entire family. One of the most popular parts is the midway, with a number of amusement rides and games for people of all ages. Ride tickets are available for purchase.

There will also be several concerts taking place at the grandstand. Among this year’s performers are Tanya Tucker, The Guess Who, Corb Lund and Joan Jett and the Black Hearts. The concerts have an extra ticket price.

There will be a parade, the Stampede Queen and Princess pageant and a visual arts exhibit. The public is welcome to submit works to the exhibit at $3 each entry. Acceptable items include paintings, photographs, and sculptures.

In addition, there will be a better living and horticulture section that will host contests for handicrafts, home venting, domestic products, and other skills.

Of course, many people only come to see the CPRA Pro Rodeo Series. This event features a wide variety of events. Tickets range from $62 to $75 for three days or $20 to $25 each day.

Medicine Hat stationery printers are often asked to provide marketing material for such annual events.

The Exhibition and Stampede will be held at the Medicine Hat Exhibition from July 25 to 28. Call 402-527-1234 for more information.
