Pop-up art exhibit set to hit Surrey shore

July 28, 2018 by

A Surrey event that will combine sun, sand and a selection of art will be hitting the shore at Crescent Beach, and the public is invited to head to Beecher Place to check it out for themselves.

The pop-up style event will feature works from a variety of local artists who will be on hand to meet with attendees as they browse through the items on display. Snacks will be provided, and anyone who is 14 years of age or older is welcome.

To help make the event as accessible as possible, the organizers have arranged for transit passes for the participants, and the group will meet at City Hall before they set out on the bus for the beach. After they enjoy viewing the art, the group will be able to relax on the sand before heading home for the evening.

Anyone who is interested in being a part of this effort to showcase the city’s artistic side is asked to be at City Hall next to Take Five Café by no later than 9:30 am on the day of the activity. Brochure printing can be used to craft items that provide further details about the pieces that will be on display during an occasion such as this.

This summer pop-up style art show will be open to the public on August 17th. More information can be found on the city’s website.
