Parenting network to host birthday party next month

July 30, 2013 by

Momstown, a parenting assistance program in Brampton, is to mark its 6th birthday at the end of August, with the Momstown Birthday Bash.

The network offers recreational and educational programs for mothers who have children aged 0 – 6.

The first 100 people through the door at the Birthday Bash will receive a free gift bag filled with promotional and informative items and there will be plenty of family-friendly activities taking place. Children will have the chance to enjoy face painting, magic shows, and a photograph session with Clifford the Big Red Dog. There will also be fitness demonstrations, musical performances, and an appearance from Dora of Jellybeenz fame.

Other features include a breast feeding tent, door prizes and exhibitors from community organizations. Local businesses are encouraged to donate items for door prizes and as gift bag inserts. Inserts might include promotional items such as pens and notepads, which Brampton printing companies can provide.

Businesses might also want to invest in services such as flyer printing. They could then send the materials out with other mailings to let customers know about the upcoming event and encourage them to attend. On top of this, companies can boost their reputation by showing that they’re interested in local goings-on.

The Momstown Birthday Bash will take place in the Ski Chalet at Chinguacousy Park on August 28 from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Admission is free. For more information about the event call 805-781-1207 or log on to the Momstown official website.
