OPP hosting London information session for potential recruits

July 5, 2018 by

London residents who are considering a career with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) may want to make plans to be included in an information session that will be taking place in London this summer.

The OPP Uniform Recruitment Unit will be hosting a session where those who are considering a career with the police force can find more information and learn about what will be expected of them. They will be able to find out how the recruitment process works and what they can do to ensure they are fully prepared.

According to the organizers of the occasion, it can help those who register be at their best when they apply for a position with the force. It is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm sharp, and no one will be admitted after this time. Each person who arrives will be asked to show their photo ID, and professional attire is mandatory.

Those who will be sitting in on the session are reminded to bring along materials so they can take notes. Promotional pens and other items for this type of function can be provided for an event like this by area print shops.

Wednesday, August 15 has been chosen as the date for this activity, and it will be held at 6355 Westminster Drive in London, which is the location for the OPP West Region Headquarters. More details are available on the OPP website.
