Oakville event to offer haircuts for a cause

An Oakville spa will be combining cutting with fundraising to offer the public a chance to get a new look while helping to support those living with chronic pain and Ehlers Danlos Syndromes.

Uptown Hair Spa has planned the event, and it is scheduled to last four hours. To help maximize the impact of the day, Averio Bakery and other businesses in the plaza will also be taking part in the effort.

The whole family is invited to come out and enjoy the occasion, and there will be fun for all ages. The kids can have their faces painted, and there will also be music and nail painting services on offer along with the haircuts. Everyone is welcome to participate, and when they do, they will be helping to support people living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which is a disease that affects the connective tissues in the body that support the skeletal system and organs.

The charity cut-a-thon will begin at 11:00 am, and it will keep going until 2:00 pm. Professional poster printing services can be utilized by the planners of an event like this to craft marketing materials that can aid in ensuring it will be well attended.

This day of cutting for a cause will be taking place on June 10 at 2530 Sixth Line in Oakville. More information can be sourced from the Visit Oakville website.
