Oakville event to explore world of powered mobility devices

Oakville professionals who work with individuals who have mobility issues will soon be offered an opportunity to find out more about power wheelchairs and other assistive devices directly from the manufacturers themselves.

This doors for this free event will open at 12:00 pm, and while the attendees browse through the vehicles and learn more about them, they will be treated to an Asian-inspired meal. Representatives from power wheelchair manufacturers will be in attendance during the occasion, and they will be able to provide information and answer any questions the guests may have. Those in attendance will also be able to network with one another, and both a door prize and small individual prizes will be given out to each person who attends the function.

While both attendance and parking area free for the occasion, anyone who would like to take part has been asked to RSVP well ahead of time. Those who will be able to register when they arrive, and this will open 15 minutes before the activity is scheduled to begin. A local printer can supply banners, brochures, business card printing and other services for this type of lunch time event.

This opportunity for health care and other professionals to find out more about the options that are available when it comes to assistive mobility devices will be held on September 13th at access Abilities. The venue is located at 549 Bronte Road in Oakville.
