New airline option for Windsor residents traveling south

People living in Windsor will soon have a new option when it comes to traveling non-stop to and from their hometown by air.

National Airlines recently announced that it will offer a service between Windsor (YQG) and Orlando in Florida (SFB). The first date for this flight will be on December 17th, which may fit in well with the schedule of many “snowbirds” who travel south for the winter and also families who want to travel over the holidays.

The particular flight will be offered throughout the year, and because it lands in Orlando, it will put passengers within easy reach of the theme parks and other attractions that can be found within the state.

To help promote this new offering, National Airlines offered a special introductory rate. A printer can produce postcards and other items for mailing out to the public to let them know more about the improvements to the services being offered at their local airport.

The mayor of Windsor noted that he is very pleased about this new route, as it will allow those who live in the city to travel more easily and they won’t have to cross the border with Detroit to reach to catch a flight, and since research has shown that this is a destination of choice for local travelers, this will make it even more convenient for them.
