Mississauga workshop to share budget stretching tips

October 30, 2017 by

A workshop is coming to Mississauga that will give the public an opportunity to learn how they can better manage their budgets.

As the price of goods and services continues to rise, more Mississauga families are feeling the pinch. During the event, which will be held in the Mississauga Library, attendees can learn about how they can cut their monthly expenses.

The workshop will teach participants tips and tricks they can use to lower their monthly hydro, transportation, grocery and utility bills, as well as the amount they spend on personal expenses. While the meeting will be facilitated, attendees are encouraged to network with one another so that they can share their best budget stretching ideas. There will be no admission fee to attend the function, but those who are interested are asked to register ahead of time.

This program is being brought to the library courtesy of the support and assistance of the Credit Counseling Society. It is scheduled to run for approximately one and a half hours. Brochures and other informational publications can be both designed and supplied by a local printer for events such as this.

The event, which will teach members of the public how they can make the most from their household budget, will be held on November 4th. More information about the workshop can be found on the Insauga website.
