Mississauga Rotarians plan second annual Oktoberfest festivities

An Oktoberfest celebration is a traditional way for many to greet the arrival of autumn, and one has been planned for Mississauga that will combine fun and friendship with fundraising in support of an assortment of community projects.

The Rotary Club has organized its second annual Oktoberfest, and tickets are on offer to the public for $20 each. Those who attend the function will receive a goodie filled mug while supplies last, and both food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

The crowd at the celebration will start gathering at 3:00 pm, and the fun will keep on going well into the night. Guests can dance the night away to both contemporary and German folk music, and when the clock strikes 8:30 pm, a DJ service will be taking over the entertainment. Authentic German drinks and food will be on offer, and there will be lots of time to mingle and meet new friends.

To help raise as much money during the function as possible, Oktoberfest trinkets will be available for purchase. A local printer can provide corporate gifts that can be used in this way for a fundraiser like this. The proceeds from the occasion will be used by the Rotary Club to fund grants and other assistance for local initiatives.

This opportunity to do a good turn for the community and have fun doing so will be held on October 13. Hansa Haus will be the location for the festivities.
