Mississauga party to offer autism families high-flying fun

November 10, 2018 by

Families in Mississauga’s autism community will soon be welcomed at a holiday-themed party set to offer a morning of sensory-friendly fun.

Children who are autistic, as well as their neurotypical siblings and their parents or caregivers, are invited to enjoy some aeronautical fun at Air Riderz Trampoline Park. Santa will be coming in for the occasion, and will be distributing presents to all the kids, and there will be lots of photo opportunities so the adults can capture the excitement of the day.

The morning will open at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am, Santa will meet with the event’s younger guests and each will receive a present. A balloon artist will be performing, and cake, pizza and beverages will be served. The fun will wind up at 12:00 noon, and it is open to members of Autism Ontario and the general public alike.

Autism Ontario noted that it wished to thank the generous support of the Halton Regional Police Tactical Response Unit, the contribution of which made it possible for it to host the event. A festive banner can add the final touch to this sort of function, and a local banner printing company can provide ones that have been custom designed just for the occasion.

The date for this family party has been set as December 9. Anyone who has questions or wants more information has been asked to visit its online listing.
